This policy describes how personal information is handled when you visit the Praxis website, contact us or use the Praxis application. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@praxis-hq.com.
Information we use and why
We process account and business details, information supplied through sign-in providers, financial check-ins, uploaded accounting files, account classifications and generated reports to provide the service you request. This processing is necessary to perform our contract with you or take steps at your request before a contract. We process contact-form details to respond to enquiries, and technical and security information to operate and protect the service, based on our legitimate interests. Where applicable, records may also be retained to meet legal obligations. Marketing requiring consent is separate from contacting us or creating an account; submitting a contact form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Uploaded records and service providers
Accounting files may contain information about other people. Upload only information you are authorised to provide and remove unnecessary personal details, especially patient information or other sensitive records. Where Praxis processes personal data on your business’s behalf, the relevant data-processing terms must also apply. We use service providers for website hosting and forms, application hosting and authentication, and business email, including Framer, WeWeb and Google Workspace. Providers receive information needed for their role. Any international transfer must have a valid transfer mechanism under applicable data-protection law; this policy does not imply that all data is stored in the EU.
Retention and security
We retain information according to its purpose: account and uploaded information for providing the service, enquiries for handling the conversation, and records needed for legal obligations or resolving disputes for the applicable period. Deletion requests are assessed against those purposes and obligations; deletion may not be immediate across backups. We use safeguards appropriate to the information processed, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us for questions about retention or deletion of a particular record.
Your choices and rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@praxis-hq.com; we may need to verify your identity. You may complain to your local supervisory authority or Luxembourg’s Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), cnpd.public.lu. Where a business uploaded your information, we may need to refer your request to that business.
Cookies and policy updates
The website and application may use technical storage needed for features such as authentication and form security. Any optional tracking that requires consent must be explained and offered separately before it is enabled. This policy does not provide consent for optional tracking. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required.
